The Newcomer Family
The Newcomer family has been in funeral service for five generations. The tradition began in 1893, when D.W. Newcomer opened a funeral home in Kansas City. Followed by his son David, grandson Warren, great-grandson Ren, and great-great grandchildren Maggie & John, the tradition of providing quality funeral, cremation and cemetery services at a fair price has guided the family for generations.
Today, Newcomer remains a private, family-owned company with over 40 funeral homes and cemeteries in 10 states. We believe every family deserves personal service, merchandise of the highest quality, and a price that is fair. This belief has guided our expansion and plans for future growth.
