The Triangle is internationally acclaimed for its health care. The University of North Carolina (UNC) Hospitals and Duke University Medical Center offer the latest in tertiary care, teaching and research. From primary care to emergency surgery, there’s a sophisticated network of providers to care for all your family’s health needs.

With 1,125 beds, Duke University Medical Center offers every level of health service in a range of specialties. In 2003, U.S. News and World Report named it among the top six hospitals in the country. The hospital also received Modern Health magazine’s Consumers Choice Award for its quality healthcare.
